Michael Henderson, M.D., joined Apogee in September 2022 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board member. He is a proven biotechnology industry leader with expertise in business leadership, drug development, and commercial strategy. He also serves on the Board of Spyre Therapeutics and Arya Sciences Acquisition Corp IV. Prior to joining Apogee, Dr. Henderson spearheaded the creation of more than 20 companies, launched 40 drug development programs, and led two teams to FDA approvals. Dr. Henderson received his B.A. from Harvard University and holds an M.D. from Stanford University. Originally from Oklahoma, he is a die-hard fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and a sworn enemy of any football team that opposes them.
