Kristine Nograles, M.D., M.Sc., joined Apogee in April 2023 as SVP, Clinical Development. Dr. Nograles is a board-certified dermatologist and seasoned clinical development executive with over 15 years of experience across academia and the biopharmaceutical industry. She was part of the core team developing approved therapeutics such as ILUMYA® (tildrakizumab), KORSUVA™ (difelikefalin) and OTEZLA® (apremilast). She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Dermatology Branch of the National Institutes of Health and was a Clinical Scholar at the Rockefeller University where she investigated the mechanistic drivers of immune-mediated inflammatory skin diseases. Dr. Nograles received a M.Sc. in Clinical Investigation during her time at the Rockefeller and holds a B.S. and M.D. from the University of the Philippines, specializing in Dermatology at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Manila. She is also certified in interior design, which she intends to pursue when she retires from the industry, perhaps in the next decade.
