Mehrak Kiankarimi, Ph.D., leads our Program Management & Operations team. She has over 25 years of experience in research and development, spanning preclinical and clinical development through marketing authorization submissions and approvals. Dr. Kiankarimi received her B.S. and Ph.D. in chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles. Having left the laboratory behind, she does process development in her Bay Area kitchen these days. Her family compare her salted caramel French macarons to those of Ladurée. Her next culinary ambition is mastering Kouign-amann.
